Ready for XForms (Client) / XQuery+XProc (Server)

Dominique Rabeuf's picture

I have installed eXist and Mark Logic on a Server

Both are running well as far as I know.

My main problems for some months were: migration of applications from Windows 2003 IIS6 NET 2 to Windows 2008 IIS7 NET 3.5 and SQL Server with various discrepancies and failures

My first objective is to rebuild Web Applications, (I made some years ago), based on NET and MS SQL DB, using new programming and design architecture.

I am pleased to confirm that XQuery/XProc server based application are able to reduce coding when XML features are used

I am not yet well fluent with XProc, but I will improve.

About XQuery and XML design of data based on Schema's : this the key for avoiding overloading cost of data base administration, maintenance and support.

My XForms client is (of course) XSLTForms
